Program Director, Andrea Nelson
Andrea has been with Amplify since 2006. She has spent time as an educator and was the program coordinator until 2009.
Program Coordinator, Melissa Hyder – Melissa joined Amplify in 2009. Prior to that, Melissa was the director of a youth outreach group. Melissa works closely with the educators and volunteers of Amplify, and also spends time in the schools with students.
Educator, Pete Juska
Pete started as a part-time testimonial speaker with Amplify and is now a full-time educator. Pete is also a trained martial arts and self-defense instructor. He is passionate about helping students build character and self-esteem, enabling them to pursue their future goals.
Educator, Tamekeyo House
Tamekeyo is a life-long learner who pursues opportunities to learn as much as to teach. Her studies enable her to become a more effective educator, particularly when it comes to understanding where students are at. Tamekeyo enjoys curriculum and teacher development.
Community Liaison, Denise Winkelmann
Denise joined Amplify in 2009. Denise works hard to develop partnerships with the surrounding community. As the mother of two boys, she is passionate about communicating healthy values in the schools and community.
